A Padstow man who allegedly possessed three videos of bestiality and child abuse material has fronted court for the second time.

A Padstow man who allegedly possessed three videos of bestiality and child abuse material has fronted court for the second time.

Simon Atkinson, 41, appeared before Bankstown Local Court on Thursday with a female supporter and did not enter pleas to the charges of possessing child abuse material and possessing bestiality material after he was arrested by police on August 17.

Documents tendered to court state Atkinson allegedly possessed child abuse material between March and May at Padstow.

He also allegedly had in his possession three videos depicting bestiality between June and July at Padstow.

His lawyer, Katerina Chandler asked for her client’s bail conditions which include reporting to Hurstville Police Station every Monday and advising police of any mobile phone he purchases to continue.

She advised Magistrate Daniel Covington she would apply for a bail variation at her client’s next court appearance.
Mr Covington adjourned the matter for November 1 at Burwood Local Court.
