Police have expressed serious concerns for the welfare of a 23-year-old woman who was last seen leaving a vehicle in Sydney’s south west in the middle of the night.

Police say they’re seriously concerned about a 23-year-old woman who was last seen leaving a vehicle in Sydney’s south west about 3.30am this morning.

Shantell Foko left a vehicle on Thorncraft Parade in Canterbury in black clothing.

Her family is worried as she needs medical treatment, according to a NSW Police statement.

“Shantell is described as being of African appearance, medium build, and with short black hair,” the statement read.

“Anyone who with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Campsie police, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000”.
