WE have a new multi-millionaire walking in our midst but amazingly, even that person may not know it.
The fabulously lucky punter has won the $3.88 million Jackpot prize in the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10234 on Monday, July 2.
The winning ticket was purchased at Riverwood Newsagency, Belmore Rd, and store owner John Zhang said he hopes the person has not forgotten about it.
“Sometimes people forget about as they put it in their pocket and then wash their clothes,” Mr Zhang said.
“We hope they don’t throw it away because without the ticket they cannot claim this huge prize.
“We have sold many winning tickets in the past but this is easily the biggest prize money someone has won from our sales so we are very happy.
“The previous highest win from our shop was $418,000 about 10 years ago.
“We sell a lot of tickets each week and also there are several syndicates.”
The winning entry is not registered to a Players Club Card so NSW Lotteries officials said they have no way of contacting the winner.
“Someone out there became a millionaire this week and they don’t even know it yet,”
NSW Lotteries spokesman Matt Hart said.
“Imagine how this prize could change your plans for the rest of the week and the rest of your life.
“If you discover you’re holding the winning ticket, hold on tight to it and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process.”
