WHILE East Hills will be among the most watched seats in the NSW Election 2019, the other south western electorates of Bankstown, Canterbury and Lakemba have plenty of interest.

The candidates for the four local seats have been announced by the NSW Electoral Commission for the state elections on Saturday, March 23.

East Hills is regarded as the most marginal electorate, with major parties announcing major plans to woo voters.

The seated Liberal MP, Glenn Brookes is not recontesting East Hills, which he has held by a very narrow margin in 2011 and 2015.

Cameron Murphy is contesting for the third time for the East Hills seat, while Wendy Lindsay steps up for the first time for the Liberals.
