MESSAGES of support and love have flowed in for families who have been affected by the tragedy at Banksia Road Public School this morning.
Two eight-year-old boys died and three other students seriously injured after a car crashed into the Year 3 classroom at 9.45am.
A female teacher and 17 others were assessed by Ambulance NSW staff at the scene.
The female driver of the Toyota Kluger, aged 52, was charged this afternoon with with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death, drive manner dangerous, and negligent driving.
She was granted conditional bail and will face Bankstown Local Court on November 29.
The tragic news has left the community heartbroken.

Lakemba state MP Jihad Dib said the families’ grief will be felt across the country.
“This is a shock that has absolutely torn through our community and society at large,” Mr Dib said.
”My heart goes out to the immediate and extended family of the deceased children. This is every parent’s worst nightmare. My prayers and those of my family are also for the recovery of the young children injured”.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have acknowledged the tragedy in a Facebook post paying tribute to the victims of Tuesday’s horrific crash.
“The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs would like to send our condolences to the families and students of Banksia Road Primary School. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,” read a message from the club’s official Facebook page alongside an image of the school emblem.
Local sports club Central Sydney Wolves, based in Chullora, said the club would hold a minute’s silence at their game tonight for the victims.
“All players representing Central Sydney Wolves tonight will be partaking in a minutes silence prior to their games kicking off in respect to those who have lost their lives today,” the club wrote on Facebook.
“Our hearts, condolences, thoughts and prayers are with the families. We would also like to offer any support or assistance if needed.”

Mr Dib offered support and urged the school to take up any counselling services offered.
“I implore all school staff, students and immediate school community members to take up any offer of counselling services. The days and months ahead will be very difficult for this tight-knit community,” he said.
“This is a shock that has absolutely torn through our community and society at large.”
