Masked persons allegedly strike boy with firearm in Chester Hill home

A teenager was struck on the head with the firearm by four people wearing masks, who broke into his home in Chester Hill.

Four masked persons allegedly broke into a home in Chester Hill and assaulted a 16-year-old boy, hitting him on the head with a firearm and fleeing with some money.

Bankstown Police said at 1.15am on Thursday, four masked people, including one armed with a firearm, allegedly forced entry to a home on Campbell Hill Rd.

“They assaulted the 16-year-old male occupant, by striking him on the head with the firearm,” a police spokesman said.

“The boy was taken to hospital for treatment to a small head wound.

“The men stole a sum of cash before fleeing the scene.”
