Police asked the public yesterday for help to get more information about the first four shootings near a business in Berala and homes in Regents Park and Ryde.

Remarkably, no-one was injured in those shootings which saw properties and vehicles sprayed with bullets.

“These shootings we don’t believe are random, they are targeted,” Auburn police Detective Inspector Chris Laird said.

A fifth shooting took place on David St in Mount Pritchard about 10.15pm last night near a home occupied by a woman and baby. The pair were not injured.
