Gody Schuster: Ex-Northern Suburbs rugby player loses driver’s licence
A former Samoan junior international forward, who also played in the Shute Shield for the Northern Suburbs rugby club, has lost his licence after facing a southwest Sydney court.

A former Samoan junior rugby players has lost his licence after he appeared in Bankstown Local Court on Thursday.
Gody Pete Karl Schuster, who played in three junior internationals, fronted court after he was charged with driving while disqualified and breaching a previous intensive correction order.
The burly prop forward faced two charges of driving while disqualified.
Schuster, who lives in Panania, was stopped by police for a random breath test when he was driving his black Jeep at 4.20pm on December 5, 2019, on the M5 at Milperra.
He returned a negative test but officers noticed his driver’s licence had been suspended from February 20, 2019 until February 20, 2024.
He had been previously convicted of driving while disqualified on July 24, 2019.
In police documents tendered to Bankstown Local Court, Schuster told officers he knew his NSW licence was “disqualified” and showed his Samoan driving licence.
Schuster was handed an eight months Intensive Corrections Order by magistrate Glen Walsh at Bankstown Local Court after he pleaded guilty of driving while his license was suspended.
He cannot apply for a NSW license for another six months.
Schuster, who played for Samoa at the junior level, also played Shute Shield for Northern Suburbs in 2012/13.
