Driver allegedly refuses breath test after BMW crashes into Riverwood store
A man has been charged with two counts of refusing a roadside breath test after he allegedly crashed his BMW into a pawnbroker store.

A Dapto man, who allegedly crashed his BMW into a pawnbroker store in Riverwood, has been charged with two counts of refusing a roadside breath test.
Police said the 42-year-old motorist was driving his car along Belmore Rd at 12.45am on Tuesday when he allegedly went through the intersection with Thurlow Rd and drove into the Captain Cash store.
Police allege the man refused a roadside breath test at the scene.
The man was then taken to St George Police Station where he again allegedly refused to undergo a breath analysis.
The man has now been charged with two counts of refusing a breath test and has had his driving licence suspended.
Store manager David said this was the first time a car had crashed into the shop, but had opened for business in the morning.
“Our security alerted us when it happened and we arrived soon after,” he said.
“One of the front windows was smashed but nothing has been stolen.
“We have cleaned up the mess and have had a few customers in the morning.”
The driver has been conditionally bailed to appear in Sutherland Local Court on November 26.
