“During the mandatory shutdown, Club Liverpool faced enormous economic pressure as at the time we were unsure how long we would be closed for,” Ms Eagles said.

Dropping 100 per cent in income and turnover overnight, the business was forced to stand down all employees, with club managers working reduced hours and days throughout the lockdown period.

Thankfully, the lub was able to re-employ all employees who were stood down.

“We are very proud that we were able to do that and for our employees ability to adapt back into the workplace after almost two months break,” Ms Eagles said.

“Their positive support of the Clubs COVID Safety plan … is a testament to their loyalty and is a huge contribution towards the Club remaining open and it’s ongoing success into the future.
