A man is in a critical condition after a car collided with an e-scooter in Sydney’s southwest.
Emergency services rushed to the intersection of Canterbury Rd and Chapel St following reports of a crash about 12pm on Monday involving a Holden Commodore and an e-scooter.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said on arrival, paramedics located the e-scooter rider, a man in his 30s, on the ground with head injuries.
The man was transported to St George Hospital in a critical condition.
A NSW Police spokesman said the driver of the Commodore was taken to Canterbury Hospital for mandatory testing.
The southbound lane of Canterbury Rd was temporarily blocked while emergency services responded to the incident.
Police inquiries are continuing and no charges have been laid.
