A JOY-RIDING jetskier has run his craft out of the river and onto the road in Sydney’s south – and now police are after him.
Marine Area Command police officers are investigating a viral video of a man riding his jetski up the Swallow Rock Boat Ramp in Grays Point before skidding through the carpark and flipping as the person behind the camera laughs.
“Officers from NSW Marine Area Command are now conducting inquiries regarding that vision,” a NSW Police spokeswoman said.
The footage appeared on the popular Australian culture Instagram account Brown Cardigan.
Marine Area Command Chief Inspector Joe McNulty told Seven News the rider’s behaviour was negligent and dangerous.
“That vessel was travelling at high speed up through a carpark where there could’ve been women and kids … and dangerously impacted on their lives as well,” Insp McNulty said.
Police are yet to lay any charges.
