Coronavirus: Southeast Sydney records 450 cases of COVID-19
The number of diagnosed cases of coronavirus in southeast Sydney has jumped again – now passing the 400 mark. The region is now responsible for almost a quarter of cases across the entire state.

There are now more than 400 cases of coronavirus across Sydney’s south and east, making up more than 20 per cent of diagnosed cases across all of NSW.
NSW Health is now reporting there are 450 cases in the South East Sydney Local Health District, with 137 in the Waverley Council area alone.
Woollahra is reporting 76 cases, followed by 57 in the Sutherland Shire.
Georges River has 32 confirmed cases, followed by 27 in Bayside.
NSW Health has now confirmed a total of 30 people contracted coronavirus at the Boogie Wonderland party at the Bucket List in Bondi on March 17.
Another 14 cases emerged from diners at a Bondi restaurant the same day.
Bayside recorded the smallest increase in numbers over the weekend, with only five new cases diagnosed over the weekend.
The SESLHD has now conducted 14,549 tests, 3.09 per cent of which were positive.
The Northern Sydney Local Health District is the only region in NSW which has conducted more tests than the SESLHD, with 14,990 tests and 348 confirmed cases.
Across the state the age group reporting the highest rate of infection is 20-29 with 406 cases, 237 of which were women.
