TJ’s Coffee House will transform from a coffee shop into a small bar for 20 patrons at 4pm each day.
Georges River Council approved their application to run the bar from 4pm until 10pm from Sunday to Thursday, and from 4pm until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays on a trial basis.
TJ’s will keep operating as a coffee shop from 6am until 4pm seven days a week.
The premises will remain exactly the same despite the extended hours, with at least two staff members at the bar at all times.
Live bands and speakers are not permitted and amplified music is not to be heard from the street.
