Maccas employees were sprayed with a fire extinguisher after they allegedly kicked two rowdy patrons out of the store in Sydney’s south.
Police allege two men were asked to leave Sylvania McDonald’s at 2.15am on September 15 after an argument with the manager.
One of the men then emptied the fire extinguisher at the staff member and the kitchen before running from the premises with the second man.
No staff were injured in the incident and police are now seeking the pair responsible.
The first male armed with the red fire extinguisher is described as caucasian, aged 18 to 25 with short brown hair and wearing a white T-shirt, blue denim shorts and white joggers.
The man was later seen without a shirt and covered in a red liquid substance.
The second man is not further described.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Leading Senior Constable Macfarlane at Sutherland Shire police station on 9542 0899.
