A former V8 grid girl who describes herself as “infamous by nature” has landed a pit stop in court after she and her fiance allegedly stole a mountain bike, a sewing machine and couch cushions from her neighbour.
Kira Kukovec, 28, has been charged with breaking and entering in company after she, her fiance and a third person allegedly broke into her Caringbah neighbour’s storage cage at 4am on November 18 last year.
Police allege the self-described “ruthless truth-teller” and her co-accused took “a Trek mountain bike, a helmet, Oakley sunglasses, a sewing machine and cushions” from a female resident.
High-end Trek mountain bikes are worth up to $9749.
Kukovec pleaded not guilty at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday and will face court in the coming months for a hearing alongside her fiance, who is in prison on remand after the alleged robbery.
In her StarNow talent directory profile, Kukovec describes herself as “ahead of the game and defiantly (sic) ahead of you”.
“Independence is the height of all sexiness, nothing is more attractive than a woman that can hold her own,” Kukovec wrote.

The former “Miss Hard & Fast Grid Girl 2012” and 2011 Bathurst 1000 grid girl also said she acted in Australian R&B singer Israel Cruz’ 2012 video clip for his song Body.
“(I’m) often referred to as the life of the party,” Kukovec wrote.
“Spontaneous, loyal, independent and upfront, what you see is what you get, I believe that actions speak louder than words.”
Kukovec said her previous jobs had required “acting, composure, and vast personality traits”.
“I am vibrant, creative, outgoing, fun, bubbly, up for a challenge and capable to confidently execute any role with ease,” Kukovec concluded.
