Adam Rigby, partner of Ada Nicodemou, to fight AVO

The millionaire entrepreneur boyfriend of Home And Away star Ada Nicodemou has faced court as police granted an AVO on behalf of the actor’s ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas following an alleged holiday bust-up.

Home And Away star Ada Nicodemou’s millionaire entrepreneur boyfriend will fight an apprehended violence order granted by police on behalf of her ex-husband after an alleged Christmas Day bust-up on her front doorstep.

Adam Rigby, 50, was served with a provisional AVO by NSW Police on January 8 at Sutherland Local Court after an alleged dispute with her former husband of nine years Chrys Xipolitas at her southern Sydney home on December 25 last year.

Rigby has not been charged with any criminal offences in relation to the alleged incident.

The experienced businessman appeared briefly before Magistrate Les Mabbutt at Sutherland Local Court on Wednesday to set a hearing date where his solicitor will oppose the order.

He will return to court for the hearing on June 23.

Nicodemou and Rigby began dating after they met at a work function, some time after her separation from Xipolitas in 2016.

Nicodemou and Xipolitas share custody of their seven-year-old son Johnas.

Rigby describes himself on LinkedIn as a “seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 25 years of experience in the digital sector”.

He is the founder and chief executive of Upside Reality, a real estate agency which offers property owners fixed-fee full-service property sales.

Rigby is also the founder and chief executive of NurtureCloud, an associated marketing and transactional system.

He was also the founder and chief executive of Nabo, a social network for communities until May 2017.

Nicodemou posted a sweet photo of Rigby embracing her son on Instagram on January 2 captioned “my favourite people”.

She posted a selfie with Rigby to celebrate their third anniversary on October 26 last year.

On his birthday last May, Nicodemou described her partner as her “hero, rock and love”.

“Life with you is so much fun,” Nicodemou wrote on Instagram.
