A man has been charged with committing a sex act in front of a schoolgirl on a train in Sydney’s southwest.

A man has been charged after allegedly committing a sex act in front of a schoolgirl on a train in Sydney’s southwest.
Police were told a schoolgirl was on a train travelling from Arncliffe to Hurstville when a man sat opposite her about 4.45pm on Thursday, March 23.
The man allegedly committed a sexual act in front of the student before he left the train at Hurstville Station.
The girl reported the incident to police and an investigation commenced.
A 28-year-old man attended Hurstville Police Station where he was arrested and taken to Kogarah Police Station on Wednesday April 5.
The man has now been charged with one count of commit a sexual act towards another.
He has been granted bail to appear in Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday, May 2.
