As Manly Warringah continue to enjoy the spoils of Green Shield success following more than 30 years in the premiership wilderness, it’s time to crunch the numbers and see which individuals shone the brightest in 2023-24.

In the only online database where the statistics of every batter and bowler have been ranked using data from all seven preliminary rounds and the finals, we present a list of the season’s elite performers.

Using the tables below, search by player name or club, and click on each heading title to sort the data by category.

GREENIES STARS

From the moment Blake Noorbergen lit up Chatswood Oval with 145 runs in the opening round, the Parramatta colossus continued to wield his Gray Nicolls right up until his dismissal in the decider.

In nine innings Noorbergen registered a season high 427 at 85.4, 44 clear of teammate and opener Athan Maraziotis.

Of the three Greenies tons this season, Noorbergen’s was the highest, but special mention goes to Rubeindranath Gobinath for his unbeaten 108 for Northern District in round one, and UNSW’s Neel Patel who raised his bat with 101 in round six at Drummoyne.

In all, 80 half centuries were scored. Noorbergen scored four, and alongside him at the top of the list was Manly run machine Myles Kapoor.

When it came to putting fear into opening bowlers, Arjun Nadadur was No.1. Of the nine on the list with 240-plus runs, the swashbuckling leftie left nothing to the imagination, blasting 291 at an eye watering 101.4 runs per 100 balls.

Manly’s Julian Osbourne was without peer with the ball. More often than not the right-arm quick chipped in with early wickets, finishing with a season best 22 at 11.3, a whopping eight clear of second place.

Nicknamed the “Burglar” by his Gordon teammates, Tyler McInnes always struck late with his loopy offerings. One of three with 14 wickets, the Burglar’s came at just 8.2 apiece – the lowest average for anyone with 10 or more wickets.

North Coast all-rounder Taylor Gilbert finished the season for Bankstown in spectacular style. The tall paceman’s 6-34 not only capped off a spectacular win over Mosman, it finished as the best return across the entire tournament. Of the six bowlers with a five-wicket haul, Gilbert was the only one to bag six.

Campbell Smith proved the toughest to get away. The Gordon left-arm tweaker often opened the bowling, and of the 17 with 10-plus wickets, Smith conceded the least runs per over at 2.35.
