BATTING
The race to become the batting king is heating up, with three players having already cracked the 400 hundred barrier.
Fairfield RSL’s Joel Rajakumar leads the way on 472, with fellow fifth grader Nookarajesh Sangadi not far behind on 435.
One of three players with multiple centuries, Sangadi has been in irresistible form for the Preston Hornets. In five innings, he’s yet to register a score below 50, and his 154 against Liverpool Leopards is the highest in any grade this season.
BOWLING
It’s a similar story in the race for most wickets.
Prestons’ Darren Drinkwater has 21 against his name, but the fourth-grader is only one wicket clear of Moorebank’s Brad Wilson.
Of the 16 five-wicket hauls, Brayden Wilson’s is by far the best. In November, the sixth-grader cast a spell over Mustangs, taking a season best return of 7/17 from 13 overs.
