AFTER struggling with injuries it was a sight for sore eyes to see James Tedesco in full flight this preseason.

Any Tigers fan would have been pleased to see the flyer round up Titans speedster Albert Kelly after giving up 10m headstart.

The Menangle custodian said it took a while last year to come back from his major knee injury in 2012.

“It was tough for me, obviously last year I was rebuilding and getting some confidence back and regaining some form,” he said.

“I’m hoping I can hit my straps this year and be 100 per cent fit and ready.

“I just want to play consistent footy, last year I was a bit inconsistent but I started to find some form at the end of the year.”

Tedesco was good enough to make the Italy World Cup team.

“It was a highlight for me playing over there with the likes of Anthony Minichiello.”
