Harry Wilson said his family already have their spot to sit picked out at Eric Tweedale stadium this weekend for the first week of Shute Shield finals.

Wilson, 21, will take on his brother Teddy, 19, for only the second time in the Shute Shield preliminary finals match between Eastwood and Eastern Suburbs.

“They will be sitting right in the middle of the ground,” Wilson said of his family wanting to show support to both their rugby playing sons.

“It will be a funny one for the family. It’s hard for them. I spoke to dad about it and he said he just wants for us to play well.

“I can’t wait. The chat has already begun and it will only get worse as the week goes on.”

Wilson said rather than hesitating to take on his brother and best friend Mosese Tuipulotu he is relishing the challenge ahead.

“Mosese is the opposite 13 and Teddy is No 9 and I can’t wait,’’ said Wilson, who shares an apartment with Tuipulotu at Eastgardens close to Rigby NSW headquarters.

“It’s a little weird. I live with Mosese and we’re together at the Waratahs but come game day that friends cap will come off.

“I think we will just go for it on the day. If anything I think we will be going harder.

“But there will be a few beers later.’’

For the first time since 2013, the Shute Shield has returned to an eight-team finals series.

The four-week finals series culminate on September 3 with the season decider to be played at Leichhardt Oval
