WINDSOR 54-6 RIVERSTONE
NATHANIAL TALAU HEIGHWAY FIFITA (WINDSOR)
The talented lock continued his strong start to the season. Always thinking, Nathanial often directed the play and caught the Riverstone defence napping with a sharp short side raid that resulted in four points.
LUKE PICKETT (RIVERSTONE)
In a tough day for the Razorbacks, Luke Pickett came up with the play of the match. From out of nothing, the slippery half exploded twice off his left foot in an exhilarating 40m solo effort to score near the posts.
SAMUEL SHERLOCK (WINDSOR)
At his explosive best, the Wolves centre kept the defence guessing with his two handed carries and finished with a double on a lethal Windsor left edge.
ST CLAIR 60-0 MINCHINBURY
JORDYN DUFFY (ST CLAIR)
Best described as a half in a prop’s body, Jordyn mixed bash and barge with offloads and showed poise with numerous clever options in attack.
HARLEY MAITLAND (ST CLAIR)
The Comets’ rocket proved way too quick for the Jets defence, running in four tries and would’ve finished with five if not for an admirable act of unselfishness: after putting himself in position to score under the posts, the No.4 handed the ball to Tyler Birnie for a simple put-down.
JOSER POMALE (ST CLAIR)
A crucial link on a potent St Clair left edge, the backrower correctly read each attacking situation and always took the right option.
EMU PLAINS 58-18 COLYTON
FILIPE HUAHULU (EMU PLAINS)
In a busy day, the Emu Plains centre threw the final pass for all four Niki Payne tries before shining in first grade with a try and one try assist.
JOSIAH PALU (EMU PLAINS)
Another to score a try in the top grade. Earlier in the day, the gifted playmaker was instrumental in his side’s 10-try rampage.
DEAN PARTCH (COLYTON)
Once again, the Colts hooker sparked the Colyton attack. Despite finishing on the end of a lopsided scoreline, the No.9 weaved across for a try and continued to encourage his forwards in attack.
CAMBRIDGE PARK 22-24 ST MARYS
JHETT SYDIR (ST MARYS)
The Panthers pathways star came up trumps in his side’s nailbiting victory over Cambridge Park. Down by four in the shadows of full time, the No.7 broke clear and unleashed a punishing left-arm fend to cross next to the posts.
BRAEDEN SMITH (CAMBRIDGE PARK)
A scheming halfback, Braeden lifted his teammates before the break. Seemingly out of options, he put boot to ball before racing onto the perfectly weight grubber to give his team the lead.
COOPER RAUHIHI (ST MARYS)
Didn’t get his name on the scoresheet, but the Saints winger did his best to make sure the opposition didn't either. Faced by waves of traffic, the No.2 continued to scramble and was a key reason Cambridge Park didn't push ahead by more than four points.
