MID-SEASON STANDOUTS WITH BAT
After a modest start to the season, Gordon’s Tym Crawford has surged to the top of the run scorers list with 613. Sixty clear of second place, the top grader cracked the first of three consecutive tons in round seven and is the only player across all five grades to notch a double century.
Manly’s Ben Bryant has the most runs in second grade, but when it comes to milestones, he leads the way across all grades with six half-centuries.
Jack Melchiore is another from Manly banging on the selectors’ door. In just three innings in fifth grade, the opener hit two unbeaten tons and with an average of 269 was called up to fourths.
MID-SEASON STANDOUTS WITH BALL
Third grade opening bowler Joel Almond ranks No. 1 for wickets taken in one grade, but the Sutherland captain’s 26 has a rival when it comes to total wickets taken this season.
That honour goes to Ben Randall with 31. The Northern District right-arm quick has taken 19 in seconds and the remainder in first grade.
Parramatta’s Naveen Patil also has 26 against his name. Among those, 22 were taken in fifth grade with 14 coming in one outing against Blacktown, including an eye-watering 9-16 – the best figures in grade this season.
