Mt Druitt Town Rangers coach Can Ozdemir has faith his charges will leave nothing in the tank in Saturday’s NPL NSW grand final at CommBank Stadium.

The Rangers boss said his team is close-knit and that is one of their key strengths.

“They would bleed for each other,’’ Ozdemir said.

“Our boys fight for each other. We won’t be lying down.’’

A number of players have also been together through the 13, 14 and 15 age groups to help with cohesion with the team boasting “solid defence’’.

“We also have the leading goal scorer in Mabior Garang,” said the coach. “He’d scored 18 at the end of regular season.

“Our striker Yinka (Ilayinka Sunmola) and Rhys (Ormond) really compliment each other.

The three on their day can be very deadly.

“Yinka has been with the club for a while and played a bit of first grade and 20s and he’s fast and good on the ball. When he’s on his scores for you.

“Rhys Has good vision, good passing range and chips in with goals.

“As usual the strikers get the accolades.’’

The coach said other players to watch include Ranger captain Ivan Sunjic.

“He’s very strong, a good one defensively,” he said.

“All three centrebacks are good with Tristan (Vidic) and Blake (Stewart).’’
