At Ballina, former NRL star Tyrone Roberts made his long-awaited return for his junior club as the Seagulls were upset by an excellent Marist Brothers’ side in a game that went down to the wire.
Meanwhile at Crozier Park in Lismore, Kyogle continued its outstanding start to the season with a second half blitz to run over the top of Northern United.
