There’s three rounds of the Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership remaining and the race for the top four is heating up.

Time is running out for teams to make their move, while others are sitting pretty over the concluding stages.

We take a look at every team’s run home and who will make the finals:

1. WENTWORTHVILLE

Record: 8-0 (16 pts, +186)

Run home: Parramatta (H), Newcastle (A), Wests Tigers (H)

There’s been simply no stopping Wentworthville this season and Mounties were their latest victims. Doing everything right at the moment on both sides of the ball and it’s a question of who will stop them.

2. ILLAWARRA

Record: 6-2 (12 pts, +144)

Run home: Manly (A), South Sydney (H), St George (H)

Put on another scoring clinic with a strong finish to knock off the Bulldogs. Heavy favourites to lock up second spot on the ladder and there’s no reason why they can’t go through until the finals undefeated.

3. NEWCASTLE

Record: 5-3 (10 pts, +68)

Run home: Wests Tigers (H), Wentworthville (H), South Sydney (A)

Had to dig deep to overcome a gritty Parramatta side to see them move into third. This weekend is shaping up as a must-win against a rejuvinated Tigers side, before the unenviable task of trying to take down the Magpies.

4. MOUNTIES

Record: 4-1-3 (9 pts, -47)

Run home: Central Coast (H), Parramatta (A), Canterbury (A)

Weren’t able to end the winning run of Wentworthville but remain in the top four after a number of teams below them stumbled. A crucial game against the Central Coast sets up their run to the finals.

5. CANTERBURY

Record: 4-4 (8 pts, +4)

Run home: Cronulla (H), Manly (H), Mounties (H)

Were comfortably accounted for by a red-hot Steelers last week, leaving them outside the eight once again. Their hopes could come down to a final-round showdown with Mounties. The best of the Bulldogs will see them make the finals.

6. ST GEORGE

Record: 4-4 (8 pts, -38)

Run home: South Sydney (H), Wests Tigers (A), Illawarra (A)

Blew their chance to be sitting in fourth after going down to the Central Coast on the weekend. They can overcome the heartbreak of that by winning their next two, which would go a long way to seeing them enter the four.

7. MANLY

Record: 3-1-4 (7 pts, +5)

Run home: Illawarra (H), Canterbury (A), Cronulla (H)

Came into their clash with the Tigers as favourites but were soundly beaten. That was a must-win game in the context of their season with a challenging fortnight ahead against Illawarra and Canterbury.

8. CENTRAL COAST

Record: 3-1-4 (7 pts, -67)

Run home: Mounties (A), Cronulla (A), Parramatta (H)

Made it three wins in a row when holding on to upset the Dragons in Sydney. They are in incredible form at the moment and if they can knock off Mounties this weekend, the Roosters could find themselves in the top four by the end of the round.

9. SOUTH SYDNEY

Record: 3-5 (6 pts, -44)

Run home: St George (A), Illawarra (A), Newcastle (H)

Ended a four-game losing run with a big win over Cronulla. Need a lot to go their way but they will fancy their chances against St George, before two challenging games against teams sitting second and third.

10. WESTS TIGERS

Record: 2-1-5 (3 pts, -35)

Run home: Newcastle (A), St George (H), Wentworthville (A)

Need a minor miracle to advance, but their form in recent weeks suggests they’ll be tough to beat on the run home. Two wins in a row, including a huge win over Manly, has their confidence at the highest it’s been all year.
