Group 2 Rugby League signings tracker: Major ins and outs for 2026

Club legends have returned home while some big guns are on the move. Take a look at some of the major ins and outs for the 2026 season with our Group 2 signings tracker.

A couple of months on from the grand final, the focus has well and truly shifted to next season as local rugby league clubs prepare for a bumper 2026.

There has already been some movement between clubs, while some new faces have joined the competition from elsewhere.

In another piece of coaching news, former Macksville skipper Aaron Wood will take over from Matt Hyland as the Sea Eagles first grade coach. He returns to the club after several seasons playing and coaching in France, and will look to leverage his French connections with some overseas signings. Despite stepping down from the captain-coach role, Hyland will continue to play for Macksville.
