FOUR members of the UNSW Raiders women’s gridiron team are preparing to vie for a spot in a trailblazing new national team.

Renae “Red” Hahn, Kirstie Bridge, Jasmin Collins and Shiloh Phillips have been invited to join the first-ever women’s national selection camp.

They will compete alongside 67 others from five states for a place on the inaugural Australian Outback team. The group will be whittled down to 45 for the IFAF Women’s World Championships.

The Raiders became the first to win consecutive NSW Gridiron Women’s Opal Bowl championships last December.
