Surfing NSW calendar for 2020 released with 30 plus events to go ahead

More than 30 events are on the Surfing NSW calendar for the remainder of 2020 including Grommet and Junior tournaments. See what major events are back on.

Boomerang Beach on the north coast will host the first major surfing event in NSW since the coronavirus caused sporting mayhem in the state but a host of other events are also scheduled to take place this year.

The amended calendar has been released for the remainder of 2020 and boasts numerous major tournaments after the first event kicks off on July 30 with the NSW Surfmasters Titles.

The NSW Grommet state titles are back on at Maroubra and the NSW junior titles at Coffs Harbour in August.

FULL LIST OF EVENTS

Other big events include the soon to be announced NSW championship circuit, the Australian surf championships at Port Macquarie in October and the Tradies Surfmasters and Night Surfing competition at Cronulla in November.

Some proposed events are still tentative.
