TWO developers are attempting to pack more apartments into already approved blocks in Mascot.
Applicant A & S & S Mohebbaty has submitted fresh plans to the Bayside Planning Panel to amend designs to the proposed residential block in Church Ave, Mascot.
Bayside planning officers have recommended the panel dismiss the application.
The owner wants to reduce the number of parking spaces from 138 to 110 and increase the units from 80 to 103. As a result the building would reach 42.5m in height rather then 39.8m. The applicant also wants to avoid having to put solar panels on the roof. The panel meets tomorrow.
In a separate application Chapman Planning has approached Bayside Council about alterations to 19-25 Robey St.
The developer wants to increase the number of flats in the five-storey project from 54 to 66. The number of parking spaces is also proposed to increase from 111 to 133.
