Patrick Earle, Katie Murtagh face court after Oliver Solan found stabbed
A young couple have faced court over an alleged stabbing which left a man with several horror injuries to his head and body and a partially severed ear as another man is charged. Police are on the hunt for three others.

A young couple has fronted court over an alleged stabbing in Randwick which saw a man suffer horror injuries including a severed ear and multiple stab wounds as another man is charged.
The 34-year-old man was late last night charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after handing himself in at Maroubra Police Station.
Police allege the Waterloo man was involved in an altercation at the unit on Young Street on Saturday in which the man was stabbed before fleeing the scene. He was granted strict bail to appear at Waverley Local Court on September 23.
Police are still looking for three other men also allegedly involved in the bloody incident on Saturday night.
Police have released images of the Irishmen and are asking for help from the public to find them.
Meanwhile, Irish national Patrick Earle, 23, and his partner Katie Murtagh, 29, have been arrested and both fronted court over the incident.
Police will allege that Earle and the alleged victim Oliver Solan, 30, knew one another and were involved in an argument and altercation.
Police will allege four men then arrived at the Young St unit and stabbed the alleged victim after Murtagh let them inside.
Emergency services were called to the unit about 8.40pm and found the alleged victim with serious injuries including stab wounds to his head and body and a partially-severed ear.
He has undergone surgery and was in a serious but stable condition in hospital on Sunday night.
Police found Earle nearby in Botany St with an arm injury and arrested him. He also required hospital treatment.
Earle has been charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and Murtagh has been charged with aid and abet to wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Earle appeared in Waverley Local Court on Monday via audio visual link with a band aid above his left eye and wearing what appeared to be hospital clothing.
He did not apply for bail and his matter was adjourned until October 27.
Earle’s partner Murtagh was refused bail in court on Sunday and her matter was mentioned briefly again on Monday at Waverley Local Court and she did not apply for bail. Her matter has also been adjourned until October 27.
On Monday afternoon police released images of four men they want to speak to in connection with the incident. One of these men was the 34-year-old to hand himself in on Monday.
Detectives believe all four men are Irish nationals.
The first male is described as being of caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, slim build with tattoos on his left hand, dark hair and a beard, wearing orange hooded Adidas jumper, grey tracksuit pants and dark grey Nike shoes.
The second male is described as being of caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, medium build, dark short hair with a beard wearing a grey North Face T-shirt and black Nike Shorts.
The third male is described as being of caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, clean shaven, black stud like earrings, wearing a cream/blue LA baseball cap backwards, dark blue puffer jacket, dark blue tracksuit pants and Nike shoes.
The fourth male is also described as being caucasian in appearance, short and medium build, wearing grey hooded jumper and grey tracksuit pants and black shoes.
