AN UNSUSPECTING member of the public is walking around with a $30 million winning lottery ticket in their pocket.

One week on from the Oz Lotto draw, no one has come forward to claim the prize.

Lotto bosses have now revealed the winning ticket was purchased from Pacific Square News in Maroubra.

They are urging anyone who bought a ticket from the newsagency for the September 11 draw to check their numbers.

The winning numbers were 6, 4, 36, 23, 2, 30 and 32. The supplementary numbers were 11 and 27.

$30 million will pay for 27,000 flights to London.

“We are so curious to know who our mystery winner is and what the delay is in them coming forward to claim their prize,” Bronnie Spencer, from NSW Lotteries, said.

“Winners have told us previously that they find their unclaimed tickets in the most obvious places and just hadn’t thought to check them.

“They could be walking around with the $30 million winning ticket in their back pocket, their handbag or it could be stuck on the fridge right in front of them.”

But what could $30 million buy you?

You could buy 400 Porsche 911s. You could fly to London — and pay for 27,000 others while you’re at it.

If your footy team has been struggling this year you could pay for Sam Burgess to join your ranks for 30 seasons. Although his pace would probably go after a few years …

You could buy the stunning Bellevue Hill mansion Sundorne ($18m) and still have plenty left to spend on furnishings.

If you’re into your soccer, unfortunately $30 million doesn’t get you a great deal. You could probably get the left foot of the world’s most expensive player, Neymar Jr, who went to Paris St-Germain in 2017 for close to $400 million.

“We are asking everyone to check their tickets and even if they didn’t win, to make sure they remind their friends and family to check theirs too,” Ms Spencer said.

“If you discover you’re holding the unregistered $30 million division one Oz Lotto winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so we can start the prize claim process.”

Last financial year, 18 Oz Lotto winning entries won more than $182 million.
