Man, 36, arrested in Waterloo after another man found and treated for stab wound
A man will face court today after another man was found with a stab wound following a verbal altercation in Sydney’s inner south.

A man has been found with a stab wound to his hand following a verbal altercation in Sydney’s inner south, leading to another man’s arrest.
Emergency services responded to a call on Pitt St, Waterloo about 1am on Thursday after reports a man had been injured.
Officers from South Sydney Police Area Command found a 43-year-old man who suffered a stab wound to his hand.
The man was allegedly injured after a verbal altercation with a resident of the building and treated by paramedics before being taken to Sydney Hospital in a stable condition.
Detectives established a crime scene and investigations have started.
After inquiries, a 36-year-old man was arrested about 2.30am and taken to Mascot police station where he was charged with reckless wounding.
He was refused bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday.
