Moist air with a dew point of 17.8 at 1pm today means the temperature will feel like 22.8 degrees making the day slightly humid. The relative humidity is 65 per cent.
The highest expected temperature today is 27, which is 2 degrees lower than yesterday's max.
Today's maximum is the highest the mercury will climb over the next seven days, according to the forecast.
The chance of rain today is 30 per cent.
Showers are less likely tomorrow with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a slight (20 per cent) chance of rain.
The UV index is predicted to be 10. There is a very high risk of harm from sun exposure. Skin can be damaged and burn quickly in today’s conditions. Experts suggest avoiding sun exposure around noon and keeping to the shade. General advice is to use eye protection, sunscreen and cover up.
Winds will be southwest around 20 km/h in the morning shifting to southeast around 22 km/h in the afternoon.
