Today's forecast is mostly sunny; ne winds.

Moist air with a dew point of 18.3 at 5am today means the temperature will feel like 23.8 degrees making the day slightly humid. The relative humidity is 78 per cent.

The highest expected temperature today is 29, which is 2 degrees lower than yesterday's max.

Today's maximum is the highest the mercury will climb over the next seven days, according to the forecast.

The chance of rain today is 50 per cent.

Showers are more likely tomorrow with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a high (80 per cent) chance of rain.

The UV index is predicted to be 10. There is a very high risk of harm from sun exposure. Skin can be damaged and burn quickly in today’s conditions. Experts suggest avoiding sun exposure around noon and keeping to the shade. General advice is to use eye protection, sunscreen and cover up.

Winds will be north-northeast around 15 km/h in the morning shifting to east-northeast around 29 km/h in the afternoon.
