ALL eyes will be on Bankstown boxer Billy Dib when he enters the ring for his first US fight since 2008 on Saturday.
Dib will defend his International Boxing Federation featherweight championship against Russian boxer Evgeny Gradovich in Connecticut.
The fight will be televised live in Australia at 1pm on Saturday on ESPN.
Dib has not fought in the US since his first and only professional loss in 2008.
His manager and brother Emad said it had been a "long, hard road" back.
"He's feeling very confident at the moment. He's been training in LA (Los Angeles) and at the moment it's just a question of working out the last bits of the game plan," Emad Dib said.
A victory would see Dib retain his title and open more doors for him in the US.
Emad Dib said he had been talking with fight promoter Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson about a unification bout.
