OUR WONDER WALL
OUT AND ABOUT
NewsLocal journalists, photographers, news editors and editors have been out across Sydney and the Central Coast taking photos for #SnapSydney.
The photos are still flowing in from our very mobile newsrooms like, well … a very long black. Cop a load of some more below.
We also had one of our photographers, Tony Zerna take photos from a drone in Marsden Park and it turned out these two beautiful pictures.
Zerna also went to Cronulla to take pictures of breathtaking Cronulla beach.
It suddenly and seriously became all about the ducks. #SnapDuck 2018.
Have a gander (duck joke) at the drone footage of the construction of Sydney’s new aerotropolis.
We have one photo straight outta Doonside. And then another from Parramatta.
NewsLocal photographer John Appleyard hit the streets for #SnapSydney and turned up in Queens Park and then somewhere more beachy. And he came up with some fine #Appleyard classics that are going straight to the pool room.
You never really know what is out there until someone from NewsLocal takes a photos of it. Below is a nice smattering from across Sydney on this day of days.
A random sample of pictures taken across Sydney are below. Including the usually unacknowledged beauty and majesty of a newspaper printing press. Who doesn’t love the smell of printers’ ink in the morning.
The northern beaches on a beautiful spring day is something the behold. Even if does have rusty old bikes.
In the enclave of Balmain, we had people out snapping too. The three below from NewsLocal editor Billy Cantwell.
In the southwest of Sydney the Liverpool Leader, Canterbury-Bankstown Expressand the Fairfield Advance have been out and about snapping.
There are photos coming out of Parramatta and Olympic Park of the day starting. And before it really starts for most people. The serenity before the busy storm of the working day.
The first picture of the day and it came out of the Central Coast, with Central Coast Express Advocate news editor Cathy Stubbs taking a photo of the train platform at Gosford for the Sydney commute.
