Two men charged with possessing drugs, knife and steroids

KELLYVILLE
Two men were charged for possession of drugs in Kellyville on Thursday. At 9.30pm police were patrolling Wrights Rd, near a cul-de-sac, when they came across a parked white Toyota Hi-lux. Upon approaching the car, police saw two men inside and drug paraphernalia on the centre console and noticed a strong smell of cannabis. They searched the car and allegedly found a vial of steroids in the driver’s door and a knife concealed in the driver’s seat. A Baulkham Hills man, 23, was charged with possessing a prescribed substance and being in custody of a knife in a public place. Police searched the other man in the car and found 2.5g of cocaine in and 9.4g of cannabis in a resealable plastic bag. A Blacktown man, 20, was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug. Both men are due to appear at Parramatta Court on November 30.
STANHOPE GARDENS
A Kellyville Ridge boy, 17, was charged with supplying a prohibited drug after he tried to steal a pair of scissors from Kmart at Stanhope Village last Tuesday. A police report said at 3.30pm last Tuesday, a young person and his friend entered Kmart at Stanhope Village. They walked around some aisles before one boy placed a pair of scissors down his track suit pants and tried to leave. A loss prevention officer stopped him. A search of the boy was conducted and 61.9g of cannabis was found and electronic scales. The Kellyville Ridge boy is now due to appear at Parramatta Children’s Court on Wednesday, November 9.
KELLYVILLE RIDGE
Police are searching for a woman who walked into the Dan Murphy’s store at Kellyville Ridge last Wednesday at 12.10pm and stole two bottles of whisky to the value of $440. The woman is described as caucasian, about 40, 177cm tall, average build and was wearing a black singlet and grey shorts.
BOX HILL
A North Richmond woman, 28, was charged with driving while disqualified, second offence, after police pulled her over driving a red Holden Astra on Boundary Rd, Box Hill, last Tuesday. At 4.25pm police stopped the driver in Box Hill for a random breath test. She returned a negative result, however, checks revealed she had been disqualified from driving until 2021. She is due to appear at Windsor Court on November 24.
ROUSE HILL
Up to $1500 worth of power tools including, a cordless drill and petrol saw grinder were stolen from a Windsor Rd property at Rouse Hill between 5.30pm on Friday and 9am on Wednesday.
ROUSE HILL
Tools worth $400 were stolen from a bulldozer and grader parked on a business premises on Windsor Rd in Rouse Hill between 9.30am last Saturday and 7.30am last Monday. A person managed to cut a hole in the wall of the premises and stole the tools from the back of the construction machinery.
BEAUMONT HILLS
A fire which started in the kitchen of a home in Perisher Rd, Beaumont Hills last Wednesday between 12.15pm and 12.45pm has caused extensive damage. Neighbours heard fire alarms saw smoke coming out of the home. NSW Fire and Rescue from Kellyville managed to extinguish the fire, which is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
