STANHOPE GARDENS

Riverstone police are appealing for information after a theft at St John XXIII Catholic Church on Monday, August 28 between 4pm and 8pm. Police said the thieves entered the church on Perfection Ave and stole a wrought-iron candle stand and a large sum of cash donations. Police are urging anyone with information to call Riverstone police on 9838 2199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

KELLYVILLE

About 65 bags of concrete were stolen from a building site on Kooraban Cres between the afternoon of August 25 and the morning of August 29.

KELLYVILLE/ROUSE HILL

Several water meters and copper piping have been stolen from building sites, businesses and a school, mainly around Kellyville and Rouse Hill over the past week. Police have reminded police to report any suspicious activity during the evenings around building sites or vacant buildings to Castle Hill police station or Crime Stoppers.

QUAKERS HILL

A home on Violet Circuit was broken into and ransacked on August 31 between 10am and 3pm when several items including jewellery and a laptop were stolen. If anyone has any information or if any surrounding homes have CCTV cameras that have recorded footage to assist investigators in their investigation, please contact Riverstone police on 9838 2199 and ask to speak to Constable Ihlow.

QUAKERS HILL

Security officials interrupted a man allegedly breaking into children’s amusement ride at Quakers Court Shopping Centre on Sunday, September 3, at 5.10pm. Riverstone police allege the man had used a tool to force open the lock in the machine and steal an unknown amount of cash. He is described as caucasian, 180cm tall and wore a blue jumper and black shorts.

RIVERSTONE

Police are searching for a man who stole $50 worth of alcohol from a BWS bottle shop on Friday at 2pm. Riverstone police are searching for a man about 40-years-old, of Middle Eastern appearance, balding, and wore glasses, an orange high-visibility vest and bomber jacket.

ROUSE HILL

A police patrol on the corner of Schofields and Windsor roads in Rouse Hill, stopped a silver Toyota Rav4 for a random breath test on Sunday about 12.45am. Police allege the driver, a 44-year-old woman from Riverstone, reported a positive test. She was arrested and taken to Riverstone police station where she was tested again and officers said she blew 0.233. She has been charged with high-range drink-driving and her licence was confis­cated and suspended. She has been given a field court atten­dance notice to appear on Sep­tember 25 at Black­town Court.
