ROUSE Hill Anglican College hosted several local families and their young children for their Music Time event on Wednesday.

Music Time is a school holiday activity — featuring music lessons, singing, dancing and musical instruments — and precedes the start of a new term at the school.

“These are opportunities for parents to come along and spend some real quality time with their little ones while enjoying an activity that stimulates growing minds and imagination,” a school spokeswoman said.

“It was wonderful today to see the joy and excitement in little ones singing, dancing and meeting new friends.

“Music Time, led by K-12 ensembles co-ordinator, Heather Skinner, helps promote a love of music while developing gross motor, counting, and listening skills.”
