KELLYVILLE family portrait photographer Renato Cillero has photographed hundreds of families all over Sydney.

During this month, he is looking for mums and kids to be photographed for an upcoming book called Mothers and their Children ... An Unbreakable Bond.

This is a national campaign with Australia’s top portrait photographers who are donating their talent and time. They are aiming to help raise $10,000 for the charity beyondblue.

“Over three million Australians are living with anxiety or depression. beyondblue provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live,’” Mr Cillero said.

“Suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians aged between 15 and 44, with around 3,000 people dying by suicide every year.

“That’s an average of eight people every day.

“For every suicide, there are tragic ripple effects for friends, families, colleagues and the broader community.”

Mr Cillero is a father of four children, ranging in age from two to 19 years of age.

“My late grandmother was the one who got me started in photography when she showed me portraits of herself from the turn of the last century,” he said.
