HAVE you ever heard of an Indigo slider?

Neither had I until I tried the modern Indian cuisine at one of Quakers Hill’s newest Indian restaurants, Indigo Delight.

Co-owners Rajwant Singh and Aman Singh opened the restaurant three months ago, however, they wanted to offer something different from other restaurants.

“We came up with the Indigo slider, as it is a nice light meal and a lot more customers are becoming health conscious,’’ Rajwant Singh said.

“Set on a bread base, we spread some of the special sauce next and then your choice of butter chicken, lamb korma or a vegetarian curry, with salad.

“We also specialise in offering very affordable meals for one, which include a curry, naan bread, rice and salad.”

With a very extensive menu, customers can stick to the northern Indian cuisines they are familiar with or try something different.

The restaurant can also host functions and parties for groups up to 75 people.

“At this stage we are open for dinner only, six nights a week, but we are hoping to open up as a cafe during the day soon,’’ Mr Singh said.
