Burger fans are rejoicing with the much-anticipated opening of Burger Head in The Hills.

The pop-up shop - the second venture from the popular Penrith burger bar - opened at Beaumont Village on September 6.

Chefs Josh De Luca, Richard Borg and Timothy Rosenstrauss opened Burger Head in Penrith in January and have fast become foodie favourites in the west.

De Luca said the trio decided to open a second venue in Beaumont Hills after searching for a location that had a community feel, was family-friendly and offered parking.

“We like the idea of being that place that people have to find and people can call their own,” he said.

Fans can expect the same Penrith menu of mouth-watering burgers such as the classic cheeseburger, pulled barbecue brisket, buttermilk fried chicken, and smoked and barbecued mushrooms.

The Burger Head team will also bring their epic regular specials to the new shop.

“We just want to bring everything that’s worked at Penrith,” De Luca said.

While the Penrith outlet features a mural of the Mona Lisa with a burger head, the new venue at Beaumont Hills has a new work painted by artist Shannon Boyd of an iconic The Lion King scene — with a burger twist of course.

The boys will only be in Beaumont Hills for a limited time, so be sure to get in quick.

Where: Shop 7/70 The Parkway, Beaumont Hills
