STANHOPE GARDENS
Police are searching for a man of Islander appearance after a 17-year-old boy was punched to the face on Sentry Drive, Stanhope Gardens outside the Blacktown Leisure Centre on Friday. A police report said at 10pm the teenager, from Blackett, was leaving the Leisure Centre and walking along Sentry Drive when he was punched to the face by an unknown man and as a result fell to the ground hitting his head. The offender ran off, while an ambulance was called and the boy taken to Blacktown Hospital for scans to his head. He is in hospital in a stable condition. Police are asking any witnesses to contact Riverstone Police Station on 9838 2199.
THE PONDS/KELLYVILLE RIDGE
Police are advising residents, especially in The Ponds and Kellyville Ridge areas, to make sure they do not leave car keys or valuables in their cars after a spate of cars were broken into between 8pm last Monday and 6am last Tuesday. A police report said a number of cars where broken into in Bather St, The Ponds, Abermain Ave, Kellyville Ridge and Levy Crescent, The Ponds. Wallets, sunglasses and money were stolen. During the same time a brown Honda City and black BMW were also stolen from a home in Broughton Court in Kellyville Ridge. Police are investigating these incidents, but would like to stress to residents to ensure they do not leave car keys of any sort inside their cars, along with any valuables.
ROUSE HILL
Police are searching for a man in his mid 20s, of skinny build with sandy blonde hair, who they believe took a $1200 mobile phone from a display shelf at Rouse Hill Town Centre on Saturday. The man was wearing a cap and cargo pants with a white T-shirt underneath a black jacket and was seen on CCTV in the store between 5.30pm and 5.45pm.
BEAUMONT HILLS
A Beaumont Hills man, 19, was given a cannabis caution after police allegedly found a bag with what they believed was the drug inside a car stopped at the Beaumont Village shopping centre car park on Thursday. A police report said at 6pm during a patrol of the area police noticed two men near a car which had its doors open. Upon speaking with the men, the police noticed the drugs in a clear resealable bag on the floor of the car. According to police the man made full admissions.
PITT TOWN
Windsor Police are seeking information from any person who may have been in the vicinity of Buckingham St, Pitt Town, around 4.10pm on Monday, June 19, after a report was received of a male in a white van approaching and offering a lift to a young child on her way home from school. The white van was described as having silver wheels, with pipes and racks fitted to the roof. The male driver was only described as having short dark brown hair. It was reported that a small white car entered Buckingham St at the time of the incident. Police would like to speak with the driver of that small white car, who may be able to assist the investigation. Anyone who may have information in relation to the incident is urged to make contact with Crime Stoppers or Windsor Police on 4587 4099
