Gross warning about eyelash extensions

A teenage lash technican and mother-to-be flew into a rage over a parking spot, blocking the other driver in before punching him in the face.

Tahli Sheree Wallace-Webber, 18, faced Penrith Local Court on Tuesday after she pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, following an argument with Naveed Khan.

Court documents reveal Ms Wallace-Webber was driving in Thornton about 3am on May 1 when Mr Khan stopped his car in front of her to park on the side of the road.

He attempted to reverse into the spot when Ms Wallace-Webber drove her vehicle around Mr Khan’s and parked directly in front of him in an attempt to block him from leaving.

The documents state she then got out of her car and walked up to his driver’s side door and tried to force it open before swinging both her arms and making contact with Mr Khan all over his body.

She then hit him in the face, causing his nose to start bleeding.

Court documents state Ms Wallace-Webber saw the blood and took off.

Ms Wallace-Webber told police they had an argument and her attempt to shove Mr Khan ended with “the palm of her hand colliding in an uppercut to the victim’s nose” after he tried to open his door.

The entire incident was captured on dashcam footage from Mr Khan’s car.

Ms Wallace-Webber told the court she had lashed out because she was pregnant.

“I found out I was pregnant when this happened so my intention was not for this to spiral,” she said.

“I’m now 24 weeks pregnant. I shouldn’t have done it.

“I have an eyelash business but due to the lockdown I haven’t been able to work.

“I’m turning 19 in about a week, I should have known better.”

Magistrate Fiona Toose told Ms Wallace-Webber violence was never the answer.

“What on earth possessed you to get out of your car and confront this person?” she said.

“If you find you’re too emotional to drive, perhaps you shouldn’t drive. I can understand you may have hormonal issues but you have no right to get out of your car because this was never going to end well. You can’t go around doing this to people.

“You may only be 19 but you’re about to be a mother and with that comes responsibilities like modelling behaviour.”

Ms Wallace-Webber was sentenced to a one-year conditional release order and a good behaviour bond.

A conviction was not recorded.
