The search is on for Penrith’s annual Q Lab 2019 Residency program.
The annual residency, hosted by the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, provides artists with space and time to develop projects at the early stage of their conception.
Successful applicants will receive $2000, two weeks of full time workspace in the Allan Mullins Studio and technical and dramaturgical support.
The Q Lab program is open to both established and emerging artists and to groups or individuals.
This year’s recipients included director Margaret Davis, emerging playwright Jordan Manalo-Shea, artist Kate Bobis and emerging theatre makers Vonne Patiag, Sophea Op and Will Tredinnick.
