Penrith: Krispy Kreme offering free doughnuts in June
A Penrith store has decided to extend National Doughnut Day to offer free doughnuts for the month of June.

With all the tension and chaos in the world at the moment, one Penrith store is hoping to share the joy a little differently this year.
Penrith Krispy Kreme will be giving away free doughnuts on Fridays throughout the month of June as part of National Doughnut Day.
While National Doughnut Day is usually celebrated only on the first Friday in June, Krispy Kreme Australia chief executive Andrew McGuigan said the company decided to extend the celebrations in 2020.
“We know things are a little different this year,” he said.
“So, we’ve decided to extend our National Doughnut Day celebrations across the entire month of June to spread joy far and wide and allow our customers to enjoy free doughnuts on us, at their own pace.”
The Penrith store will be giving a free doughnut away with every purchase of a dozen doughnuts in store.
Any purchases of a dozen doughnuts through Uber Eats or other delivery services will come with a voucher to be redeemed before June 30.
The offer is valid on any doughnut, and will only be available on a Friday.
Krispy Kreme originally started in the US state of North Carolina in 1937, and came to Australia in 2003.
It is famous for its Original Glazed doughnuts, but also offers a selection of flavoured doughnuts.
It now has 30 stores across the country, including the Penrith store located at the Panthers precinct.
