Suspended Penrith Panthers player Tyrone May has pleaded not guilty to secretly filming and disseminating the footage of sexual acts performed on him by two women.

The 23-year-old five-eighth appeared before Penrith Court today for the third time after he allegedly filmed two women without their knowledge while they engaged in sexual acts with him on separate occasions at Coffs Harbour and Kingswood in 2018.

May’s lawyer entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf to all four charges.

The videos surfaced on the internet in February, leading to May handing himself into police.

The matter was adjourned to Parramatta Court on July 16 for a hearing date, where it is expected there will be extensive examination of witnesses.

Up to six witnesses are expected to provide evidence and it is predicted the hearing could last up to three days and his next hearing has been moved to Parramatta Court.

May is currently stood down from his playing duties with the Penrith Panthers and is not likely to take any further part with the team until after court proceedings have concluded.
