A woman accused of exposing herself to a young family, before assaulting their child in a pram, at St Marys train station will fight the charges.
Susan M Hall, 56, of North St Marys, appeared before Magistrate Peter Thompson at Penrith Local Court on Monday morning charged with wilful and obscene exposure and common assault.
Hall pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Police will allege Hall was intoxicated and yelling loudly at members of the public at the train station at about 5.40pm on November 18.
They will allege Hall pulled down her top to expose her breasts to the young family, and spread her legs to expose her vagina.
Police allege the woman then poured a liquid over the couple’s young child in a pram.
Officers arrested Hall shortly afterwards.
Hall told Magistrate Thompson she didn’t have any legal representation, but still wished to enter a plea of not guilty.
She will next appear in Penrith Local Court on January 30, with the prosecution to serve a brief of evidence by January 20.
Magistrate Thompson advised Hall to get legal representation at that time, and that she would have to either reaffirm her pleas for a trial date, or change them on January 30.
